New Song Kids

At New Song, we believe that children are a gift from the Creator, and we consider ministry to our youngest friends the highest priority. Above all, we want every child to know that he or she is created by God and loved no matter what!

Our goal is to make learning fun. So whether that learning is about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, or ageless stories of our faith, we want it to be exciting and enriching.

While adults are in worship, the New Song Kids (age 5 through 2nd grade) are invited to have their own special activities, exploring their faith on an age-appropriate level.

Infants and children four years old and younger are welcome in the nursery. Certified child-care workers will be available for this fun-filled time of play and development.

At New Song, our kids are living big with "Live B.I.G." (Belief In God), a fun and interactive program using music, dance, worship and Bible stories to help each child grow in their own faith journey. This study gives children the opportunity to visit the Live BIG website (www.iLivebig.com) for special activities during the week. Check it out!.

Third, fourth, and fifth graders at New Song participate in a youth group hour designed just for them. Our youth minstry team meets with these kids from 8:30 to 9:30 AM ,and they sit together to enjoy and learn from our 10:30 worship service. Our third, fouth, and fifth graders also have the opportunity to help lead us in worship each week by lighting the altar candles, a symbol of Jesus' light in the presence of our worshipping community. And, by carrying out the light from the altar at the conclusion of the worship service, they symbolize the light of Christ going out into the world we are called to serve.
