Worship

Worship at New Song is at 8:30 and 10:30 Sunday mornings. Both services contain relevant messages, weekly communion, and prayer. Dress is casual.

The 8:30 "reflective" worship experience is more contemplative in style. This service incorporates more traditional hymntunes as well as a wide range of music from other traditions being led by piano or organ as well as a variety of other instruments such as flute, violin, or cello. During this worship service you will be invited to draw closer to God and fellow worshippers through prayer, responsive readings, a meaningful message, and gathering for communion.

The 10:30 "contemporary" worship experience incorporates inspiring contemporary music that is more like what you hear on the radio, rather than what you sang in church as a child. During worship, you are encouraged to visit our breakfast cafe where you can fill your cup and choose from a variety of snacks. It is our hope that you will leave this worship service energized by our music and fellowship and inspired by the message you have heard and the communion we have shared.

We are blessed to have the opportunity to meet in an already existing church building which we were fortunate enough to acquire in February 2009.

The address of the church is 8600 NE Sam Ray Road, KCMO 64156. It is very easy to find by taking MO Hwy.152 to the Brighton exit and turn North. Go to the stop sign at the old Barry Road and turn right. That road ends and you must turn left on Sam Ray. Once on Sam Ray, the church will be on the left (West) side in approximately 1/8 mile.
